We did receive a full day of snow, yesterday. It was just beautiful! Snow clinging to the trees and streets. Making everything appear as a picture of serene beauty.

However, spring is around the corner. Our days are warmer, the sun is brighter and each snow does melt much sooner. The housing market, here in central and eastern Connecticut is booming! Nothing is stopping the buyers from finding that perfect, dream home. Rates are low, sellers are priced agressively and the homes are mostly, move-in condition!

Summer Treats Can Help Sell Your Home!

Selling your home during the hot summer months can be fun! Fun for you and fun for the prospective purchasers. When their is a showing scheduled for your home, make sure your air conditioning is on (if you have it in your home, have ceiling fans on, and in rooms that may be darker, open the curtains to let the best light in. Have your kitchen table set for a meal with cute summer dishes (maybe, even lemonade glasses). If you have a porch, set it up to make the buyers feel welcomed and want to sit out on the porch or deck. Fresh flowers are always nice to see when viewing a home, too!

Keeping in mind, they would rather be at the beach in this hot weather, just like you and I. People do forget about sitting and relaxing when they are house hunting. Use your imagination and enjoy prepping your home for their smiles and maybe, you’ll cause a sale. After all, homebuying is an emotional purchase.
