At Summer’s End

Labor Day Weekend is the unofficial, last weekend of summer. This year, it almost seems true. We have much cooler, crisper, weather than we had, even last week. Leaves have turned colors, yes, already, and are falling gently to the ground. Our summer season, this year, was short, cold and wet.
